The Annual Rubber Duck Race is IFNA’s largest fundraiser and family event and held each year during the summer. This year the event is scheduled to be held at:
Dean Porter Park!
The IFNA Rubber Duck Race is a family event and much fun is to be had by all. Tickets are only for the Duck Race. If you don’t wish to buy a ticket come anyway for children and their families…a day of fun, food and games during the 14th annual Rubber Duck Race.
Every year something new and exciting is introduced and this year we have partnered up with the City of Brownsville to provide even more excitement to the day as they will be having the Mobile Recreation Unit available for the kids and family to enjoy. Face painting, bouncers, sidewalk art, food and games for the whole family to enjoy. We will also have a silent auction of a number of items including a custom made Bowie knife by one of the country’s respected knife maker, Don Robinson.
The fun starts at 10:00 am on Saturday July 27, 2013 at the Palapa on Dean Porter Park. The actual rubber duck race will start about noon at the Resaca. IFNA is currently selling tickets for the adoption of a rubber duck for a chance to win one of many spec"quack"ular prizes including round trip airline tickets for two, $300.00 visa card, one night stay at SPI and much more. So come out to adopt your "ducky" and have it race for a chance to win and you will be helping IFNA continues to serve our community.
